Travel to Claremont

The closest airport to the conference is Ontario International Airport (, which is 10 miles/16 minutes driving distance from Claremont. Most major airlines fly into Ontario, but from the east coast, perhaps the most advantageous is Jet Blue Airways ( which offers direct flights from New York’s Kennedy Airport non-stop. Transportation to the conference hotel and site is by Local Bus ($5), Limousine ($40), Super Shuttle ($19), or Taxi ($20). International travelers may need to fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), about 50 miles distant. United Airlines offers a short commuter flight (can be booked as a through connection) several times each day to Ontario, and there are direct ground transportation options from there: Limousine ($75), Super Shuttle ($59), or Taxi (ca$50). Car rental is also available at both airports.

Train service to Claremont/Pomona/Ontario is provided both by Amtrak (long distance) and Metrolink. ( The former provides service via the Sunset Limited thrice weekly, and the Southwest Limited arrives in nearby Riverside daily; see for schedules. Metrolink serves Claremont directly several times each day. Bus service is not recommended.
