Stockholm is a city that offers a wide range of lodging. The conference has booked 20 single rooms for the period 18-22 March at Drottning Victorias Orlogshem. This is located (as per the map on the website below) within a block or so of the Royal Academy of Music at Teatergatan 3. The cost per night is SEK 1,200 (about USD 125), and it comes with a complete breakfast.

The rooms are on the smaller side, but adequate. For larger rooms and longer periods of stay, please book directly with the request. Please mention that you are attending the SECM/Musikaliska Akademien Conference during this time and that you are requesting one of the rooms already reserved. These will be available until February 6, 2020.

Other modest hotels in the vicinity are: Bern’s Hotel, Berzelli Park, a boutique hotel where prices range around USD 142 or so per night.

Hotel Esplanade, Strandvägen 7a, a Best Western Hotel, but very popular so rooms for the entire time are limited. Prices are about USD 170 or so/night.

There are also a number of hotels in Gamla Stan. For further booking, it is advised to use one of the booking sites for the best prices:

Note: Accommodation will be limited the later one books, so please be sure to make your lodging arrangements as early as possible.
